simple tips to build your postnatal village doula

It's easy to feel overwhelmed with all the choices you need to make during pregnancy, there are heaps of things to decide. But many couples don't spend a lot of time thinking about what happens after their baby is born. There is a huge transition from woman to mother.

This is the "fourth stage" of labour and it lasts the rest of your life!

Take an hour out of your pregnancy to plan for a peaceful postpartum time. Bring your bump and your partner, hear how you can boost your family bonding, breastfeeding, peace and love.

Your baby is upset and you're not sure what's wrong... you wish there was a way for you to understand what they need. Are they hungry or thirsty? Do they want comfort or is their nappy wet?

Baby signing isn’t about us talking to them, it gives babies a language to talk to us. It minimises the guessing game (The Baby Signing Bible).

Did you know that babies can communicate with sign before they are able to talk? Reduce the frustration you and your baby feel at not knowing or not being understood. Give your whole family the skills to communicate clearly!

This workshop will give you the Baby Sign Language Essentials, the 'first aid kit' to use any time you feel that you need to.
